seemed to work fine. just unzip then plugged in my network adapter nm710 and windows install dialog pops up. specify location browse open to newly unzipped folder. then windows installs.

Seems not work on Compaq Presario 3907HK model. The builtin sound card of that computer is identified as Intel 82801DB ICH4 sometimes and Realtek AC'97 sometimes. When installing using quotAdd hardwarequot dialog it will ask for Realtek AC97 drivers in the middle of installation. However picking the driver files of Realtek AC97 package may cause blue screen at nearly the end of installation. It seems that no driver is suitable for this type of computer's sound card.

Worked perfect. For those who it doesn't work with it's easy to use.Save it somewhere I suggest My Documents or just C . Go into Display Settings in your control pannel click the settings tab then Advanced. Click Monitor and click Change. It will let you browse select Display All Drivers. Click Have Disk and find the .inf file you just downloaded. It will say you need Agere Systems.bmp but you don't so hit skip file.That should do it...
