I have tried this and several other Savage4 drivers and the problem lies within none of them being able to initialize in the Win2000pro environment. I even tried locatin the original motherboard bios drivers and for the very reason that the video and sound card are integrated into the motherboard for the Compaq Presario 5000 desktop system. I pray success for any and all who need this driver as desperately as I do. Thanks for the driver submission.

THANX a bunch I decided to take XP off my system and to put ME back on. But guess what I threw away the CD that came with my card. THEN I downloaded the file from creative's site only to be told that the card was not found on my system. What bullsht I will think long an hard before buying another fcking creative product...

This driver is only useable for advanced usersno inf or exe file is provided to install.But it does work fine for my WinXP version.
