works like a charm Picked up the unit in a local thrift store and paid only 5 euros for it. Found a matching powersupply at a nearby flea market two weeks later set me back another 2 euros.Now running this driver I scan relatives' old photos of which no negatives remained and doing fine

I don't know why all you are saying it doesn't work or you need some stupid Genius Kye software...I just used this driver on a system that I built from spare parts the only thing Genius Kye I have is the monitor... and this driver worked fine....you just have to remember to tell windows witch driver to use after you install it.

Excellent I used this driver for a JVC GRD70AA camera and it worked greatI would assume that it should support USB capture for most of the GR50xx GR53xx GR70xx and some other models too.No installer but just extract the driver from the .rar archive get winrar rarlabs.com plug in your USB and tell windows to look for the driver in the folder you extracted too.Big thanks to the uploader

I tried the sp7604.zip file for the dfi336 series modem found on the Genius Kye web site and it did not work I could not open com2 nor communicate with it via winterm. I suspect your drivers will work since the ones from Genius Kye refered to the modem as being an upgrade i.e. with daughter board and thus won't work with my hr6x since it has not been upgraded and is still a 33.6.
