The driver hardware description is valid But after you uncompress the file don't use the setup icon it didn't work for me but rather use the browse command after the computer finds the hardware lead it to the uncompressed files and everything will work out really good. Ruslynsodac.

I tried installing this driver but it asked for several files dlls that were not included in the download zip or on the win98se disk. I ended up using a driver I found on a motherboard driver CD.

I have a small huge problem. I have an Intel 810 chipset board and has ac 97 sound except it didn't accept the max studio driver. I installed win 2k and it picked it up but on win 98 it doesn't and I have been looking all over the internet for this driver. Am I looking at the wrong place. I don't want win 2k on the system because it is a client of mine and he wants win 98....
