Call me stupid but the download consisted of two .sys files. When trying to install new driver XP looks for .inf files of which there is none hence no upgrade. No instructions included with download so to me it was useless.

well i tried the canon site but the 397 file had something wrong with it it worked before a while aago downloaded this one and it worked like a charm i prefer this one better then the most recent version
