Running Win 98The driver program is money Just a couple clicks and it installs itself you don't even have to unzip.

Worked fine. Copied it to the system requiring the driver using a floppy disk. For some reason XP kept looking for a CD to install from little bit of a problem trying to get it off the floppy. Other than that.. 100 good.

After trying 3 other drivers I attempted to use this one. It didn't work either. I was about ready to pitch the modem and use a much lower quality PCTel modem when I tried one more driver from this site. The driver USR56009XME.exe worked perfectly the first time. I suggest you try this driver before try any others. It is an easy install works 1st time and I am connecting at about 48000......... as good as dialup gets in my area.

I had tried several other drivers on win 98s but this installed perfectly and has been stable since it was installed on my Dell mchine
