Did not work. no inf file and exe failedIt was good information to know and keep. Informative.

downloaded the driver and it started installing and then asked for the laserjet cd software to be inserted which if I had would have made coming to this site unnecessary now wouldn't it

Thanks Jerry this driver worked fine for me on 4300U acer scanner after I upgraded my OS from Win Me to Win XP. This was after I could not find help on Acer website. The catch is that during installation you will get a message that says the driver is not digitally signed by Microsoft. But just ignore and intall.

Driver is for HK9908 not KB9908.The application to monitor the special key mute volume up volume down... works when there is nothing else running.I stopped testing when I encountered the first problem with winamp 5.xxx. When winamp starts the volume up and down won't change the volume they change the track instead.
