I have windows Me. It has a built in zip file opener. But I could not get this file the driver is in to open. How do you open the file Then I'll let you know if I had any luck with it

Problem solved If you get a blank screen after installing this restart in safe mode run msconfig from the run menu. Select the advanced tab and check the box to force 640x480x16 colors. Then restart the machine normally go into your display options and set them up. Then go back into msconfig and clear the checkbox. Machine should work.

After looking for many hours over several days for the required software to get xp to recognize my Gigabyte audio chip lost after a format and reinstallation I found this site. The registration process hated me but it was worth it. I just extracted the file used to add hardware wizard to locate the drive for the bus controller and voila Sound on my gateway. Thanks a ton
