I am looking for a bios flash for a Ibm 5wv270 The Compaq 5WV270 from the Presario 5000 desktop series doesn't have any intel chips that I know ofIt has an AMD I have been getting conflicting info as to either Athlon or Duron AMD Athlon socket 462 700MHz and up lt is haw it is described at the HP Site. Sony was just as Bad they did not offer any help. I work for a Sftwr Compy Compq is a Major headache to deal w trble shoot.Install 1st was DOS Based then Launches Win Based Installer Very Straight forward Simple.It did not work But Thanks anyways

It worked and it's easy to install.1. Remove the old drivers2. Execute the downloaded file.3. Go to add new hardware navigate to where the driver files are specifically windows asks for cifman.dll which is extracted when you execute the downloaded program4. Just let windows finish the installation.
