Yeah I couldn't get my net in ol' Win 98 because my ethernet card had no driver. Once I downloaded this and installed the net works nearly as good as in Win 2000.

It works in Win98.When Win98 detected a New PCI Communication device my Modem I indicated the Conexant files and it installed a Modem Enumerator then the modem drivers it used COM3 and then a Wave Device.Good luck
