As of the time that COMPAQ became part of HP they have not kept up the driver section and many problems can be solved by reinstalling a driver download it and save it on a CD so when windows crashes not ifbut when you have the right driver

Hope this works with this ancient 2400 baud modem i am having HUGE troubles finding inf's for. The customer is using this modem to connect to a Dental server and cant upgrade his modem. Wow what a pain in the hiniey.

For the Sound Blaster CT4780 driver go to www.pionex.comdriverspdriver.crevasse rescuephpcategorySOUNDand go down or search for SNDCT4780CDownload this huge file and after unzipping it got to Audio English Setup Setup.exeI also installed the driver update.It works fine now with Windows 98 SE.ThanksMichael
