Check the HCL Hardware Compatibility List under win2000 or XP. If it's there ur safe otherwise at ur own risk. And also check ur Bios setup under INTEGRATED PRERIFERALS and changed the ONBOARD PARALLEL SETTINGS to ECPEPP.That's it and good luck to all.

Installed on a Dell Inspiron 3500. Had to change the refresh rate to 60MHZ and display setting to 1024x768. Then it worked OK.

Many thanks. After a couple of frustrating days I finally found a driver that works. I needed it for a HP Pavilion 7840 which I was changing from Win Me to win98 SE. Everything works but playing midi files. At this point I will settle for what I have
