well i tried the Epson site but the 397 file had something wrong with it it worked before a while aago downloaded this one and it worked like a charm i prefer this one better then the most recent version

Anyone considering downloading this driver should turn back now as it's a total waste of bandwith.This is no functional driver. Even by downloading bits and pieces from other real HP drivers this piece of software is useless. It's impossible to sucessfully install this steaming heap under 98 Me 2k or XP anyone telling you something else is probably related to the writer of this sorry excuse for a wouldbe driver. Too bad HP quit writing drivers for this nice printer. I'll keep on using the 1.00.1913.0 HP drivers with it's bugs.
