Hey man it is not the point whether drivers for the model exist yes they do and they come with windows 2000 itself at least with the professional edition. the point is that under windows 2000 ALL direct3d hardware acceleration is gone vanished you can check that in dxdiag.exe search for it has to be somewhere in the disk when you go to the direct3d page or something like it you will see that only software acceleration exists. Games such as NFS porsche Driver MS Madness Thief 2 etc. will not run Nevertheless they PERFECTLY ran on windows98. What the heck now Whose guilt i guess nVidia's depends on your particular vendor but the chip is nVidia's. I think that they forgot about such old products i downloaded their detonator 3 but it didnt bring anything new to my system. does windoes 2000 support hardware acceleration at all i'm beginning to ask ofcourse i know the answer but why is noone concerned about old systemsit doesn't work Message quotNot For XPquotthx

I use it on XP Prof. with a Elsa Microlin. ISDN USB connect. It works but sometimes the connection hangs. Don't now if its due to the driver or the device itself. I also heard that a bad ISDN line can cause such problems. So just try the driver.

For any who does not know what is this this is a RAR file a compressed file similar to ZIP files. It ca be decompressed with WinRar among others.I had problems with games quotBattlefieldquot quotVietcongquot quotTomb Raider AODquot and quotMafiaquot the sound speeds up or down in these games. The problem is related to Hardware 3D sound. This driver fixed it for my Windows XP Thanks a lotNote 1 If you have the same problem but this driver does not work for you another way to fix it is the following execute dxdiag.exe go to Sound tab and set Handware Acceleration to None. Sound speed will be correct but is a bit delayed and some glitches are heard sometimes.Note 2 This driver adds a quotSound Managerquot to the system tray. If you don't want it execute msconfig.exe go to Start tab and uncheck quotsoundmanquot.Thanks a lot again
