sound drivers not working

The reason these are bad is the monitor I have is a Ultra VGA 1600. I was trying to get the software for the on screen adjustments. It's inheritedif you know what I mean. My thinking is if an HP monitor is the same sizethe software should work right

Some problems with installation must install manually cos old drivers didn't let me to install automaticly work fine and this is THE ONE from many others drivers who didnt solve my problem in win98se sb16 error.... GREAT

I got this driver at www.pbnec.nlsupportitemnrREFFIUP02170100.html which was a self extracting exe at this locationI used the following procedure with windows 98 and restored my sound succesfully to a fresh installation of windows 981. Download Sigmatel.exe2. Double click file to extract files to c easynote3. Remove any sound devices in control panel system device manager4. Click Add new hardware in control panel click next twice5. select no I want to select the hardware from a list click next6 select sound video and game controllers in list click next7. click have disk browse select c easynote8. select file name stac9700.inf click O.K twice9 select your sound card 82801AA in my case click ok. 10. Windows will alternate requests for files from the win98 CD and the Soft audio drivers11 choose D win98 where d is your cdrom and c easynote as required12 Restart PC and your sound should be workingThere are four options of sound card to install which are Intel 82440MX AC'97 Audio Controller Sigma tel CodecIntel 82801AA AC'97 Audio Controller Sigma tel CodecIntel 82801AB AC'97 Audio Controller Sigma tel CodecQSoundSigmaTel Stac97 PCI Audioworked fine for me

It didn't work...My video card is a nVidia Riva TNT2 Model 64 AGP 4X....Is this driver for PCI or AGP
