It did work. Installed thru update adapter driver. At first the computer did seemed to take a long time when rebooting. After several reboots it finally seems to be installed correctly now seems to be doing fine with 24bit color at 800x600 1024x768 on 15 monitor. I also could not download from PCChips website. Thank you.

One customer came with an allinone motherboard PC100 BXpro the sound chip said it was a SiS 5595 downloading the driver for that chip was of no success after removing the bad settings on the controlpanelsystem i found that it asked for the CMI8330D3D sound controller then downloaded this file and it worked just great.BTW you'll need some mirrors soon your bandwidth is being affected by all of us you're simply the best site for drivers that's why you get so many hits. Keep going

Worked just fine for my Presario 1525 monitor on my nonCompaq Win 98SE computer. Although I saw absolutely no difference between this driver and the standard Windows Plug 'n Play Monitor driver. So overall not a bad download.
