Worked great to get the card working in Win 2000. Since Win NT is not plug and play and the card isn't either I believe it worked fine. I had to manually set 1DMA and IRQ setting but that is little trouble.

Like many other presario1700 owners I'm looking for drivers for Win2kpro.I'll let you know if it does. Mine isspecifically the 17xl265 model. Compaq says no to supporting Win2k for this unit. We'll trythanks for this one..

Didn't work on my etower 566i2. Found the correct driver at www.priorityonesupport.comdownloadsemachineseTower20566i2 the file named CS4299.exe.

I tried downloading it and received the same error mentioned by ed and SteveM. I did find a more complete download at www.americas.creative.comsupportfilesdownload4.aspcentric17 try it. check the downloaded file name to see if it includes the .exe extension if it does not be sure to add the .exe extension before attempting to execute it so you can run the file.success.NOTE be sure to have your winme disk on hand since you will need it for a couple of the files.
