didn't work on my dell inspiron 4100 in win xp may not have been any newer than the current one hard to tell

I cant get this to even install. I bought this scannar 6 years ago tried to get installed on three different comp's and to no avail. I'm ready to put in the trash andor the fireplace. SlimTak12u with scanoffix pro. H E L P PLEASE

Listed as XP64 but does not work on it.Ok Dave You are still the man but the software would not restore the tapes. It listed the contents of the tapes just fine but would not restore them. I think filesafe needs to have a Mountain filesafe scsi 4mm drive and I have a sony 4mm. I have gone through every setup variable I could think of to no avail. Oh well. Thanks anyway.

I came here to fix the problem I am having. Every time I boot the system Windows 2000 Plug and Play says my keyboard driver did not load correctly. I tried reinstalling it from Compaq's site from Windows Update and finally here. They are all the same driver. None of them work properly on my W2K SP4.
