I was getting an found new hardware message after I switched from winnt to win98. I could not get the system to recognize my modem or anyother pci card. I found the modem model and product number on the modem itself. I did a search on charydent.com and wala you have to register however there is no fee. I rebooted and when the error message reappearred I simply pointed it to the driver that i had downloaded and no more worries.ThanksBill
