The XP setup went ok I did have some of the open cover trouble reported by others.But what if I want to share the printer with a Win98 printer on the network Different setups produce blank pages or half pages. I'm trying to use the WinXP install additional drivers with the NEC CD but I get as far as the list including 660 plus but when I choose it the properties still indicate that no Win9598 drivers are installedIs there any solution If I connect the printer to the Win98 machine share it will the WinXP machine be able to print properly

in win98 the instalation was successful.

The driver didn't work. It seems to be my USB ports. I installed a USB PCI card instead.

I installed it and it worked but it disabled my networking and internet capabilities so I wouln't recommend it unless somehow it works 4 u.I just removed it
