The end of a long search I am using Win ME with a Astra2100U and the install CD kept failing. Umax was no help. I updated the driver file and specified the location of this file...voila Installed seamlessly. Worked Instantly. Thanks Richard.

It ask for the Microsoft Framework 2 to be installed and with Compaq Presario 900 series doesn't work.I recently submit one that works.

This rocks. Excactly what I needed to find my modem again. My computer found a PCI Serial Controller but didn't find a driver for it. Use this one and follow the instructions as described in the readme.txtfile. Take care of the disk you might need it again if you ned to format your harddrive sometime. Works great with Windows98 SE too. Thanks a lot for this tip.

Was hard to figure out which driver to use on the Ambient modem wIntel chipset. It turns out that the Intel 536EP chipset driver works with this AMIIA56IE56 CPCMOP902202
