This is not a driver it's a text file about a network adapter. If it was a driver it would be in the wrong section. 86C326 is a graphics card chipset not a sound card.

Sucks.....I've waited for about 15 min to get this s..t validation to work and still no luck. Even after validation it won't work but we'll wait and see.The issue is that you need a driver here and now and not to wait for any number of minutes or hours but what can one do about it but WAIT.Back to the beginning SUCKS

Worked fine however once I got past this file I needed to also download msjstick.drv and vjoyd.vxd in order to complete the install. After that I was up and working.

For nonWin 98 users there are patches from the HP site which need to be run after the win98 install of Scanjet precisionscan LT software is instlled this too can be gotten from www.hp.com its a 32 Mb download though...

downloaded this driverunzipped it to my c drive then hit upgradetook about 3 minutes to upgrade my modemgot back on the net and checked my connection speedwas running at 24000 just about all the timemy first hook up i was at the max. of 57600 would definetly recommend
