After coinstalling W98 in my XP machine the integrated sound was lost. This driver proved to be the solution. Thank you for providing it.Installation was a breeze of course after decompressing the .rar file but that is explained nicely below the download station.

I tried this file on Emachine 766. I got the dreaded Blue Screen I had to format my entire hard drive. It was so bad I couldn't even boot under safe mode. By the way I have installed WIN 98se on this system. Those of you who have nothing to lose... try this driver.
