i had a lot of trouble with the driver supplied with the hardware but after installing this driver my adapter magically started talking to my DG824M modemrouter. Phew thanksThe Bios flash worked very well. The computer was not even able to install any operating system from Windows 98' to Xp. After the flash install I was able to install windows XP pro and so far works Great. The instructions given was a little vague but I managed to place all in the same boot up floppy and followed on screen promts. PLEASE NOTE NEVER FLASH FROM WINDOWS. Always do so from DOS as soon you get the A promt. Good luck hope this works for you as well.

A method to solve the cover open problem at least for my case XP Prois the following 1. start computer2. start printer3. print gives cover open error4. press cancel job and confirm5. restart printer6. from there onwards printer prints normally until next computer restart
