Note that the file IATA98.CAT needs to exist in CWINDOWSINF in order for BOTH the primary and secondary IDE controllers to be properly initialized. I had it in CWINDOWSSYSTEMIOSUBSYS and pointed the install routine there and only the primary IDE controller would initialize. Slightly frustrating for a few tries.

I'm not sure if I'm installing it correctly. Have windows 98SE. Apparently no instructions on how to set up the keyboard as I got the keyboard secondhand. I installed software prior to plugging in keyboard and keyboard didn't react to anything being pushed. Looked in system devices and shows microsoft keyboard and media keyboard. I remove microsoft keyboard then on boot installs again. Am I doing something wrong All I can say is it didn't work for me.

Worked after the driver from Kris Little didn't. The problem was I couldn't hear sounds on games like Quake. This driver update fixed the problem and improved overall performance. Thank CalebDrive was same as the one I already had from HPI no longer use this computer
