I hope it works. We've been looking for it a while. For those inerested in updatespatches go to hp.com or partsurfer.hp.com. That's al that is there...no driver for lj 3150 and they want to sell you a cd.

This driver did not work for me. Like others I got the general file transfer error problem.I took levi's suggestion and I tried sp6333 it worked I suggest for anybody who has trouble with this driver to get sp6333

Unfortunately this was the wrong driver for the hardware. I cannot say one way or the other whether the driver is ok. It just didn't work for the hardware I had.

Unfortunately this driver does not work on my etower766id. After the installation the device manager showed the HW as Crystal WDM Audio Codec without any problem but under Multimedia Audio no device is selectable. After all the hassel no sound at all. Guess it's faster to buy a cheap sound card then to find another driver. The eMachine Restore CD is a joke and the support a real mess.
