I could not get it to work. I downloaded the file zipped it went to add new hardware looked for the file in the folder where I zipped it but it said it could not find the driver. I am using Windows 98 what am I doing wrong

One of my Mini Towers is running Redhat Linux 9 this Zip file is not compatible with Any brand of Linux. The file should be in .RPM format for any Linux to read. Its about 45 to 55 Kb's in size.

Not only did I have to endure putting out the money for this soso scanner but in trying to give it away to someone I found that I no longer had the software tried to download it and discovered that UMAX wanted 15 for it. What a rip Thanks E. now at least I can bequeath it to someone else without having to reinvest in it.
