Note that the file IATA98.CAT needs to exist in CWINDOWSINF in order for BOTH the primary and secondary IDE controllers to be properly initialized. I had it in CWINDOWSSYSTEMIOSUBSYS and pointed the install routine there and only the primary IDE controller would initialize. Slightly frustrating for a few tries.

GRACIASFenomenalRan into this very wierd ATI AGP card with a quotmobilityPquot chip originally designed for the onboard sound system on a laptop ATI site did not provide the driver as they said the chip was designed for laptops and you had to get the driver from the laptop mfr. This driver solved the problem....thanx

This driver didn't work with my sound card I can't find one that does. Maybe the problem is the sound card not the driver but I don't know for sure.

I used this package and no viruses no mal function i recommend working correctly.

This driver hung my system during install on a fresh clean XP SP2 installation. I was able to successfully install the driver in safe mode but when I rebooted into normal operation any attempt to access the modem hung the system.
