Eu usei ele na verso do WIN98SE em portugus e funciona corretamente O windows update at reconhece a instalao dele e atualiza alguns arquivos do windows para melhorar o desempenho.

I used this for a Compaq Deskpro EN 1 ghz which has a 240762001 motherboard with onboard sound chip 82801AA. The install did some stuff and then said I needed updates for Win98se. After rebooting I selected the card in Device Manager told it to update driver selected quothave diskquot drilled down to where the install put the smwdm.inf file in the ..SE folder and then it worked. I was using the quotGood Timesquot MPEG from the Win95 CD for testing and Edie finally sounded like she should.

I have searched and downloaded this socalled driver from Compaq.com a number of times and it did not install correctly. I found it here at Drivers.com in mere minutes I will come here often.

The manual on this driver states that it can only be run in REAL mode. Although I won't try it I doubt it it work with Win95.

I had real trouble even installing this driver. Using Windows Add Hardwardware and then browsing to the drivers location it hung and failed to install driver. I have to kill the process as nothing appeared to be happening after 15 minutes. Thanks for the effort though
