Until I installed this driver I couldn't use my scanner in Windows XP. This driver comes with a utility called quotDeldrv1205.exequot which you can use to uninstall the scanner driver. I recommend you run this BEFORE installing the driver as it seems Windows XP had previously automatically installed an incompatible driver which was the cause of my problems Then just add the new driver using AddRemove Hardware. One gripe is that the installer automatically unpacks to CTemp which is not my usual temp drive So if you don't have a C drive this installer will probably fail...

It seems to have worked on my Fujitsu Siemens Intel 815 chipset motherboard the number 82801 is one way of identifying the drivers I needed.Now I'm able to use sound AND my GeForce graphics card at the same time. I've tried the sound driver in a game and playing MP3's and it's OK so far mind you I've only had it for less than a dayYahoo

For those of u whining about ppl asking for drivers to the SonyStorstation its because all the drivers sites link here for it and tell us that the drivers are here but yet it says it is for a sound card. Quit ur whining its nobodys fault but the person who linked all these sites to this page.
