Maybe because I'm running Me but usually if 98 is the only option then the driver works for Me. This wouldn't even install doubleclicking on it just made it beep

Jackie thanks for posting this driver. It was a big helpI downloaded and extracted the awent40.exe file then I followed the readme.txt file. Everything worked exactly as the documentation stated.

AS LAWRENCE already stated this will not flash OEM drives. This will probably only work with LG GDR8162B drives. This will not work with HLDTST DVDROM GDR8162B drives that come as OEM's such as Dell
