I got this driver to work with XP I took awhile but it works fine. I have an old 2GB JAZ drive SCSI hooked up to my XP system and it work fine...so farThe trick is to update the USB driver that will have a question mark by it in Device Manager. You need to run the quotusbscsi.exequot then point XP to the folder under quotProgram FilesMicrotech InternationalUSBSCSIquot. This folder should have been made after you unpack the files and run the quotsetup.exequot file in the default folder from the quotusbscsi.exe execution. This had me going in circles Nevertheless its' all good now

This driver did not work at all. The operating system did not recognize at all and failed to load. The file had to be unzipped which did work however once the file loaded it did could not be used as an acceptable driver. I will continue to try and work it out but the first impression of this one is not good. Sorry

GREAT Comments are correct do NOT use the setup.exe file it does NOTHING This worked wonderfully on an emachine 500is. How's about some other Emachine users getting together to put together our own page of drivers since their tech support doesn't exist

yes it works thanks halfway there.the system still stops responding using 2000 sp3 ie5.00 sp3.its ok offline so thinks it must be the modem or chipset drivers.

It was my understanding that my Trident 9685968096829385938293851 PCI video card was a 4MB card and it wasn't until now that I found out that it's only a 2MB card. I'm running a 233MHz AMD K6 Chip wMMX on a VX Pro II Motherboard a 13GB Maxtor Hard Drive 64MB SDRAM and Win98 Operating System. I have to run the video graphics as slow as they will go or this video card will cause the computer to lock up the system consistantly. I continually have to CTRLALTDEL to reboot my computer because of this card. Avoid buying this card. New or updated drivers won't fix the problem.

For those who complain that the file smc1211.sys is missing it isn't. It's just buried in the NDIS3 folder and the installation script is screwed up.
