I could not get this driver to work.My guess is that maybe you can only use this driver if you have your CPQ software utilities still on your hard drive and active like foxbyte says below.But guess what I went to the Compaq website and got ALL the drivers I need for my Compaq Presario audio display modem etc etc.They ALL worked greatGo to www29.Acteck.comfalcosplist.aspYou can also order a CD from Compaq and receive by mail ALL the Presario drivers you need on one CD. This definitely restored a little faith in Compaq for meTom happy to have a working computer again

thanks for posting this helped me get sound but the joystick still wont work. the files could not be found on my win 98 cd...not a big deal all i wanted was sound and this did the trick

This driver worked great for me Thanks heaps. I have a HP Pavilion 8904 with XP loaded. I hated XP kept rebooting it self when ever a problem occured. Must be a new approach by microsoft if it doesnt work right just give up. Anyany I went back to Win98SE but the modem and soundcard didn't work and the monitor only displayed 16 color 240 x 480. HP site was hopeless so thanks for the at8810 driver its works great.
