Tried it on etower 566i2 Emachines. It said installed on system window but no sound. Don't know where to look. That is for win98. Maybe there is some module missing Would appreciate having some feed backThis driver is the same as listed on Matsonic's web site. www.Avance Logic Inc.comdownloadvia.htmIt was released 063000 and not 2002 as stated on the download page. Please update this error.

The driver was obviously within the range but did not work for me. I ended up using the SigmaTel Sta9200 driver which still caused a problem and no sound. The specific driver is a 9220 which I though was covered by the 9200 driver download.

This is a system file and if you are using XP the hardware wizard will not see it therefore it is useless.
