thanks a bunchi can't spend time testing but it works just fine with al1655cscm. Seems like the sound volume is quite low

After trying to install this driver on a Windows SE system I couldn't get it started again except in safemode. Said it could find the system.ini file anymore although it looks like its where is still should be. I'm switching to another network card.

I tried the sp7604.zip file for the dfi336 series modem found on the Sharp Electronics web site and it did not work I could not open com2 nor communicate with it via winterm. I suspect your drivers will work since the ones from Sharp Electronics refered to the modem as being an upgrade i.e. with daughter board and thus won't work with my al1655cs since it has not been upgraded and is still a 33.6.

I DL to my HDD extracted to a disk and burned it installed the card started up and loaded the CD found the drivers it needed and loaded them right up no problems.
