i've redhat 9 installed in my sm...it recognises my soundcard as AU8810 but the sound output is feeble...when i try to adjust the audio props it shows an error...will reply if this driver works out

READ THIS PLEASEThere seems to be a problem getting drivers from the CD or other source.To overcome this try this.Go to DEVICE MANAGER. Under USB DEVICES at the bottom of the list you will most likely find a line that reads USB COMPOSITE DEVICE. HIGHLIGHT this and CLICK on REMOVE. REMOVE also the SB4100 if it is listed anywhere in the DEVICE MANAGER RESTART the computer and let the SEARCH WIZARD do its work till you get the window for the location of the drivers. SPECIFY LOCATION cd drive USB DEVICE DRIVERS and that should be it. Sincerely hope this will help. alan daly.
