i have windows xp i downloaded this driveri unziped the file for what ever the reason i get this message saying this cannot be open this file sys.any help will be appreciated.thanks again.

got a brand new emachines pc for christmas which came w a bunch of mcaffenortonaolms crap installed but would not work unless I bought a license. Well norton 2005 internet security suite was 1 year service but it is a huge resource hog. So I wiped my new pc w standerd XP Pro cd. Afterwards I had no sound. This driver allowed my sound to work again. After installing I noticed the updated driver was available in windows update

This driver did NOT work for me I got an error message while trying to install it. It could not find some of the files needed to install the driver even in the same directory as the rest of the driver files. The file sgiul98.drv is not included with the archive and the installation fails at that point. Can anybody help

i needed it for a compaq computer but it didn't fix the problem i had. I had to buy a sound card and install it because the onboard sound refused to work correctly.

Install worked just fine for Windows 2000 Pro. Just unzip update driver and point to the folder the files were unzipped to.... and VOILA
