Hasn't resolved problem of XP finding UMAX 1220P scanner when I have a UMAX 2000P scanner connected and the scanner not working 90 of the time due presumably to the driver being incorrect. I have tried original software and also downloads from this site. I've yet to see the point of upgrading to XP if you get so much hassle with hardware compatibility.

i was hired to work on a client's presario 2200...he wanted windows 98 installed. without this site sound better than 16 color graphics and dial up networking would have been impossible. this site once again saves the day.
