the name of video and ide drive archive is the same sis620.zip if you used this to install one of them i.e video device and it dont work should the archive be to another IDE device

The driver works great no virus ornothingyou just need to dl both 82801babamac97 1 and 2then you have to copy 82801babamac97 2 to the same dir as the 1make sure you add the files to SETUP DIR.I GUESS SOME PEOPLE ARE TO STUPID TO USE A PC AND A SPECIALY READ THE AUTHOR README FILESsuch people should be eliminated from our society.

install in win 98 but in the win2000 profissional do not installswhen you install win2000 professional in compaq deskpro the program autoinstall all Devices on board in my case the type of file are NTFS.

SEVERE Error during install driver not found. Update attempt for Presario 906US with driver date version 1172002 6.13.10.6218. Saved and run express install default folder then run express from sitedefault folder next advance install of driver 15Monly ATI technology folder. Will try other driver download.

Strange install. Needed to first install these drivers then Windows changed its interpretation of what it actually was from Unknown PCI Multimedia Card to Crystal Wave Codecs but it still didn't work. But then I did find new drivers automatically for the Cystal Wave Codecs that it now incorrectly thought it had after the driver install the device is an Intel 82801aa ac'97 and then it changed its mind agian to the correct name and it now works. Bizzare but effective. Seems to be the way with sound cards dunno why.
