Im getting this driver becuase my 007 nightfire is choppy then smooth for 10 seconds the anothe skip every time .if someone can help me please email meThis driver did not work for my MODEL CT5803 soundcard. Other numbers on it are 6001502. Part no. 4001049801 REV A Used in Gateway KAD K7600 MFG. Date 20800Drivers recommended by Gateway don't work either.

There were two sound drivers that I downloaded to install. Both did not work. There was little sound and what there was was high pitched. The guys soulded like they were singing on helium. Yes the stuff that makes balloons go up. My spelling is bad. Anyway after removing the sound drivers I had to wipe the drive and start over again. This happened twice. At this time that computer has no sound.
