driver did not work for mfc 5100c

README.1ST says this is version 1.41.These files were mostly updated on 8498 or thereabouts making it a possible Windows 98 update. The INSTALL.TXT file however has not been updated and thus it tells you how to install this on Windows 95.Also since there is no SETUP.EXE like I have seen for a 5446 Version 1.40A install it makes the hurdle higher.This may be the soughtafter Win98 update.

this is not a driver. this is just an update. first we need the mainold driver. i wasted more than for hours to search for a vaild .inf file of PCI64 sound card. i can not understand that such a GREAT COMPANY like CREATIVE LABSdoes not have the main drivers of their products. but i felt better whenever i have that i am not alone sufferer of Realtek. i made a great decision that i will never buy any other Realtek product and i will advise to my friends to do so. Thank you Driver Guide and thank you contributors of comment.especially MR. FFALCONvolny.cz

I got this scanner Free with my 3 month subscription to an ISP. The ISP does not support the scanner for WinXP and I've been searching high low for a driver. I really hope this works and if it does...THANKS A BUNCH
