This driver did not work on a Presario 1250. Finally tracked down the NeoMagic driver required. It is available on this site.

I tried the sp7604.zip file for the dfi336 series modem found on the Asrock web site and it did not work I could not open com2 nor communicate with it via winterm. I suspect your drivers will work since the ones from Asrock refered to the modem as being an upgrade i.e. with daughter board and thus won't work with my 775i65g since it has not been upgraded and is still a 33.6.
