sorry wrong comments on the driver this is the driver for 1260 ready for HCL language. Does not work properly for 1260C which requires CaPsl language.Driver is working good

The modem is working correctly. Being as it is a PcTel modem that is a miracle. These are nasty modems but the owner won't upgrade. Compaq used to install better modems but I guess the cost cutting got into the modems too. Anyway it installed correctly the modem will sustain uploads and downloads at 40 kb and that is acceptable.Thanks for the help and support.

i have a sony vaio pcgf340 i should have had the included cd's but i bought it used ... i am running win98se and this driver made my screen go blank... do yourself a favor download the 95 driver instead it worked for me

On one side I'm working with PIII 500Mhz on the other side the Mainboard is one of them who has grafics and sounds quotonboardquot. So tzhe driver causes a changing of colors sometimes. I'm working on it and will send a message after having found the solutionGreets Ananda
