Many thanx to Mr LyndonI have been searching a while now for these drivers if they're the right onesI have had the scanner a while now and wanted to update the drivers and the only markings on it are scanmagic 600CPI wasn't sure of the manufacturer.Maybe it's a 3rd party product using Mustek inardsAnyway i'm hoping they will run ok on Win 2K

Regarding The RealTek Audio DriverDriver SETUP Install is a little too technical. quotReadme Filequot guide how to install but to much quotCautionquot discourage the user to install the driver. Performance is quotGoodquot as i can say. Havn't experienced those quotcautiousquot quotIn some User's Machinequot pertaining to the Readme File. Must move that section to another Readme Filequot not pertaining to the Installer.

After almost exploding from trying multiple drivers that didn't work I followed a suggestion from another comment I found downloaded this driver then rip417na.exe uploaded by Steven Lee White driver ID17163 and installed the drivers in that order. Sound works modem works Am using in a Hewlett Packard Pavilion 6553 given to me to reformat and set out for the trash had no recover disks. Thanks for the driver Edward

IT WORKSWindows 2K Wizzerd tries to reinstall the old driver but if you tell it to select the driver you want you can force the new driver to replace the factory one. Some of the skinbuttons are garbled but the image transmits fine. THANKS
