Tried 3 other drivers for a Compaq Presario 1255 Laptop and this was the only one to work. Searched Compaq's website and couldn't find a video driver for this model those buttheads. This one works like a charm for the 1255.

THIS DRIVER IS MISLABLED IT IS FOR AN 8x40x LG DRD8080B Desktop drive.NOT THE 4x24x LG DRN8080B fitted to my Dell C600 Latitude1st install from floppy gave a batch error on boot and driver couldn't find the drive. May have been some junk left on floppy from previous installs2nd install from a clean floppy batch ran ok but installer found a DRIVE .MOT MISMATCH and safely did not install.
