I have a 14 Daytek monitor model DT1436 and I'm looking for a driver. I downloaded daytek1.inf and it turns out to be some sort of a text file. Is this the driverIf so how do I run itThank youCharliework fine

My XP system appears to be ignoring this driver and all other similar VIA drivers that I have tried to install so far. I am still looking. Also this driver had only an .exe program that installed directly I prefer to have a zip file that I can extract to a specified folder so I can then tell Windows where to go look for the files. That way I can easily see if it is actually recognizing them or not.

Keiththat error message means that there's no backup file. You should backup your BIOS with awdflash.exe which is probably included in this setup.exefile. I'm suprised it's an executable. Usually it's a .binfile binary together with awdflash.exe on a floppy boot backup current bios and update... If an update goes wrong you might have to send the board to the manufacturer for reflashing. So be carefull...All info on updates is very much appreciated...Regards TooFastForMellow
