No it doesn't have any virus. I know who posted that and he didn't properly troubleshoot . . . the driver is fine works great.

My Windows XP did not recognize the drive as a burner. What you must do is have nero 5.x installed prior to installing the drive using the serial mentioned above 550417132048479628857148. Then windows will begin to install the drive and recognize it as a burner LG CED430vxB. It worked for me

Maybe i have just a bunch of bad cards but the driver seems to load OK except the comp still can't access it...it seems it removes the COM ports
