A working WinXP driver for the Ibm colorado direct9600 is at charydent John P Williams unfortunately he has given the wrong extension it should be .zip not .exe change the extension and unzip double click the setup.exe file and it should work it worked on mine.

My hard drive crashed. I did not have a sound CD. I looked for two nites and find driveguide.com. I down loaded the program Soundblast Live all drivers from the list of drivers and this one and I now have sound. Hope this helps.
