i tried your driver on driver.com and it only gave me part of the driver. if you could please redo the driver of the Acer 3400 scanner i could use mine. thanx.works perfectly with another driver Aspire 3610 362480211bg this two dirvers works perfectly for an ACER Aspire 3618AWLCi the driver of the ACER homepage DONT WORK...

for some reason the executable worked but was stopped for corrupt file during the unpack. don't know why. Thanks for having it though . the info u provided in your comments enabled me to find another driver that i was able to get to work. . so thanks again

This actually worked with a compaq presario S3040SE as it has the same chip set. I could not find the driver on the compaq site but this one works great. THANKS
