Please disregard my earlier comment. I found the required files pw4026.cat and cwawdm.sys in the win 98 folder that I downloaded. It works fine now. Sorry

Hi everyone i have a compaq presario and i recently installed windows 2000 profesional but the problem is that my modem is not responding after i have done so. so can someone tell me whether i should buy another modem or is there anyway i can get a compatible driver for my Laptop. it's a 1681 compaq presario with a compaq presario 56ksvc modem.thank you.

This driver performed better than I expected as it wasn't written for my motherboard. ms6540g 661fm series. worth a try on others incorporating sis 900963 and Dell Computer 1703fpL.
